On 9 March 2017 President Andrzej Duda visited Rosomak S.A. company belonging to the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ). The President’s arrival at the factory manufacturing Armored modular vehicles was the last part of the head of state’s longer visit in Siemianowice Śląskie.
On 2 March 2017 in Rome, Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) and the Italian company Leonardo signed a Cooperation Agreement for helicopters. This is mutual confirmation of the cooperation and continued dialogue on areas of potential industrial cooperation around production, servicing and maintenance of helicopters for the Polish Armed Forces.
On 17 February 2017 a meeting was held at the offices of PGZ S.A. in Warsaw between the Board of Directors of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, headed by the President of PGZ S.A. Mr Błażej Wojnicz, and the President of RAYTHEON Company, Mr Thomas A. Kennedy.
On 13 February 2017, Mr Arkadiusz Siwko, who had been the President of the Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. since 8 December 2015, tendered his resignation from the position held. The Supervisory Board of PGZ S.A. accepted his resignation on the same day and thanked Mr Siwko, valuing his work very highly. On 13 February 2017, the Supervisory Board of PGZ S.A. appointed Mr Błażej Wojnicz, who to that moment had worked as President of the Board of Polski Holding Obronny S.A., the new President of the Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A.
