Since Monday, 16 April, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, together with the Ministry of National Defence, has participated in the DSA 2018 fair in Kuala Lumpur, where it presents its product range for Asian markets. Defense Services Asia is a prestigious event that provides a platform for building and developing business contacts for the Polish arms industry in one of the most important regions of the world.
On 28 March 2018, at the European Commission headquarters in Brussels, an agreement was signed for the implementation of the European Defence Agency, OCEAN 2020. The objective of the project is the development of the potential of areal, water and underwater unmanned platforms in recognition of and surveillance of the bodies of sea water located in Community waters. The consortium comprises European institutions and companies. Poland is represented by Research and Development of Centrum Techniki Morskiej S.A. (CTM), which forms a part of the Polish Armaments Group.
The signing of the intergovernmental contract on 28 March marks the start of the implementation of the largest in the history of the Polish Armed Forces, the programme of acquiring anti-aircraft defence systems and the WISŁA medium range missile defence system. Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, as an offset recipient and a partner of American industry, will carry out many tasks in this project.
Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa signed with Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) a memorandum on establishing conditions and rules for technology transfer of Beryl M762 carbines in Nigeria.
