On 30 November 2018 a contract was signed between the PGZ Consortium and the Armament Inspectorate of the Polish MoD to deliver 12 Tactical Short-Range Orlik Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems. Members of the consortium include PGZ S.A., WZL nr 2 and PIT-RADWAR and the system they offered to the Polish Armed Forces, PGZ-19R, has been entirely designed and manufactured in Poland.
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of regaining independence by Poland Fabryka Broni „Łucznik” – Radom sp. z o.o., a member of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, manufactured a special edition of VIS wz. 35 pistols based on original, pre-World War 2 documentation. This weapon, considered to be one of the best Polish constructions, will be manufactured in a limited series of 50 pieces.
Tuesday, November 7th, saw the start of one of the most important arms industry events in Asia - Indo Defence 2018 in Jakarta, hosted by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia. More than 850 exhibitors from 55 countries, including companies from the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), participate in this fair. Polish companies such as Dezamet S.A., Fabryka Broni "Łucznik" Sp. z o.o., Rosomak S.A., Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów S.A., PGZ Stocznia Wojenna Sp. z o.o. and PCO S.A. exhibit at the joint stand of the Polish Ministry of National Defence and PGZ S.A.
On 24th October, Huta Stalowa Wola, part of PGZ Group has been awarded with a contract by Raytheon Company for preparation for the future contract regarding the WISŁA program. PGZ was represented by vice president Sebastian Chwalek, the document was signed by HSW S.A. representatives: Jacek Kosiński and Bartłomiej Zając, and from Raytheon Company by Wes Kremer, Tom Laliberty and Pete Bata.
