The Supervisory Board of PGZ S.A. decided on the competition for the post of President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A., by appointing Andrzej Kensbok. The supervisory authority also concluded the selection process for the post of Vice-President of the Management Board and Member of the Management Board of PGZ S.A., by appointing Michał Pietrzyk and Hubert Stępniewicz, respectively.
In accordance with the Company's Articles of Association, the Supervisory Board of PGZ S.A. applied for the Minister of National Defense to provide opinion on the proposed candidates. Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak evaluated positively the decision of the Supervisory Board of PGZ S.A., therefore the composition of the new Management Board of PGZ S.A. is as follows:
- Andrzej Kensbok - President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.
- Michał Pietrzyk - Vice-President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.
- Hubert Stępniewicz - Member of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.
Andrzej Kensbok has been involved in business activities since the beginning of his managerial career. He has many years of experience supported by work in Polish and international corporations, production and consulting companies. He has carried out investment and restructuring projects, company mergers, team building, as well as production reorganization and sales development, both in Poland and abroad. He was, i.a., Vice-President of PepsiCo in Eastern Europe, Consultant at Bain & Company and Director of Wedel factory in Płońsk.
From March 2017 to July 2019, he was Vice-President of the Industrial Development Agency, responsible for the capital group and finance. From July 2019 he was Managing Director for strategic projects in KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. Between 2018 and 2020 he chaired the Supervisory Board of PKP S.A.
Andrzej Kensbok is a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Catholic University of Lublin and obtained the diploma of Master in Business Administration at the INSEAD school in France.
Michał Pietrzyk has been involved in the banking sector since 1995. In 2003, he started working for Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG), initially as Head of the Treasury Department, then as Deputy Director and Director of the Economic Department. From December 31, 2016 to January 9, 2020, he was Vice-President of the PGNiG Management Board for Finance.
Michał Pietrzyk is a graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Banking at the Cracow University of Economics and postgraduate studies in law for managers at the Kozminski University. He holds a CFA title.
Hubert Stępniewicz is a manager with many years of experience in restructuring and development of companies. He started his professional career at Fund.1 NFI where he supported the implementation of restructuring projects. In the following years, he managed Hygienika S.A., which after the reorganization was introduced on Giełda Papierów Wartościowych S.A. in Warsaw (2002-2005), and also held the position of President of Zakłady Naprawcze Lokomotyw Elektrycznych in Gliwice, where he implemented a development program which ended with the sale of the company to an industry investor (2005-2009).
Recently (2016-2020) he was President of the Management Board of H. Cegielski Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych in Poznań, where he was responsible, i.a., for the development and effective implementation of a restructuring program based on the optimization of production processes, logistics and design.
Hubert Stępniewicz is, i.a., a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (faculty of finance and banking).
