On 22 October 2017 the second company fire module left the gates of PGZ Group-owned Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. It consists of eight self-propelled wheeled RAK 2017 mortars and four artillery command vehicles. The vehicles will be delivered to the 12th Mechanised Brigade in Szczecin named after gen. Józef Haller.
The first elements of the company fire module for the self-propelled wheeled 120 mm RAK mortar on a wheeled chassis were delivered on 30 June 2017 to the 17th Mechanised Brigade in Wielkopolska.This event commenced the series of deliveries of new artillery equipment for the Polish Armed Forces.
In 2018 and 2019 three more modules will be delivered to each unit.The contract signed provides for the delivery of a total of 64 mortars and 32 command vehicles for the total value of more than 960 million zlotys.
