Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów S.A., a member of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, celebrate their centenary this year. The honorary patronage over the Jubilee was taken by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda. The Jubilee will be accompanied by many events in the first week of July, aimed at familiarizing the citizens of Tarnów and its region with the company.
The Jubilee started on 2 July by a celebration of a Holy Mass in Tarnów Cathedral, celebrated by bishop Stanisław Salaterski.
From 3 to 7 July, from 7.00 to 15.00 the company holds "Open doors" and presents its products in the show room in ZM Tarnów. On 6 July the presentation will be prolonged until 18.00.
On 4 July at 16.00 there will be a shooting competition organized in Tarnów Sports Club LOK.
For 6 July there is an important charity event planned "Hundred litres of blood for the hundreth anniversary". Blood will be collected at PKP Railway Station between 7.30 and 13.00.
On 7 July the Tarnów Community Centre will hold photo exhibition on history of Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów. It is an exhibition of old and modern photos presenting changes during 100 years of the company's existence. The photos were never shown publicly before and their historic value is very great. The exhibition will be open until 12 August.
There will also be sports and music events. On Saturday 8 July the KS "Metal" stadium will host a football competition for the cup of the President of Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów – kick off at 10.00. Later that day, at 16.00, there will be a series on concerts on Tarnów market square, featuring Enej, Sayes and Bracia with Krzysztof Cugowski.

All events are free, so everyone can come, participate and have a good time.
