PGZ Management Board paid homage to the victims of the Smolensk tragedy


The Management Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. participated in the commemoration of the 7th anniversary of the Smolensk tragedy, in which 96 Poles, including the President of the Republic of Poland, Professor Lech Kaczyński and his spouse, Maria Kaczyńska, lost their lives.

On Monday morning, President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.,Błażej Wojnicz, attended the solemn placing of wreaths at the commemorative plaque built into the wall of the Ministry of National Defence atKlonowa street.Wreaths were placed by, among others,the Minister of National Defence, Antoni Macierewicz and Secretaries of State at the Ministry of National Defence, Bartosz Kownacki and Michał Dworczyk.

A delegation of the Management Board of PGZ S.A. was also present at the Powązki Military Cemetery, where a monument commemorating the catastrophe and the cemetery section where 28 victims of the Smolensk tragedy are buried, are located.The President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A,Błażej Wojnicz, and the Members of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.,Adam Lesiński and Maciej Lew-Mirski placed wreaths at the monument commemorating the victims of the tragedy and at the cemetery section where some of them are buried.
