On 9 February 2017 the Minister of National Defence and the Commander of the Territorial Defence Force, major general Wiesław Kukuła, met with representatives of companies forming Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa. During the meeting, the individual manufacturers forming the PGZ Group presented their offers dedicated to the Territorial Defence Force.
At the headquarters of Przemysłowe Centrum Optyki S.A., where the meeting took place, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa prepared an exhibition of equipment and arms offered by the PGZ Group manufacturers to the soldiers of the Territorial Defence Force. The exhibition was visited by the Minister of National Defence Antoni Macierewicz and the Commander of the Territorial Defence Force, major general Wiesław Kukuła. The head of the defence ministry also met with the representatives of the Board of Directors of PGZ S.A., Maciej Lew-Mirski and Adam Lesiński, and the representatives of the PGZ Group companies that prepared offers for the Territorial Armed Force. Minister Antoni Macierewicz also took part in the discussion panel concerning the equipment for the soldiers of the fifth type of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, i.e. the Territorial Armed Force.
“I am extremely glad that subordinates of general Wiesław Kukuła, the soldiers of the Territorial Armed Force, will soon have access to this state-of-the-art equipment,” said Minister Antoni Macierewicz while exploring the exhibition of equipment for the Territorial Armed Force prepared by Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa.
During the exhibition at PCO S.A. the PGZ Group companies showed, among other things: the RKP-8100 backpack-mounted radio transceiver (produced by Ośrodek Badawczo-Rozwojowy Centrum Techniki Morskiej S.A. in Gdynia), all variants of the 5.56 mm MSBS carbine as well as the 9 mm PR-15 “Ragun” pistol (both manufactured by Fabryka Broni „Łucznik” – Radom Sp. z o.o.), the UKM-2000 machine gun, the 8.6 mm Alex-338 sniper rifle in military configuration, the 7.62 mm “BOR” sniper rifle, the 12.7 mm “TOR” sniper rifle, the high-calibre 12.7 mm NSW “Utios” machine gun, the 60 mm M60K mortar, the RGP-40 revolver-type grenade launcher (manufactured by Zakłady Mechaniczne „Tarnów” S.A.), the NLAW (M72) grenade launcher, an offensive grenade, a smoke grenade, a defensive grenade, a rifle grenade, 40 mm grenades for the RGP-40 revolver-type grenade launcher and under-barrel grenade launchers (manufactured by Zakłady Metalowe „Dezamet” S.A.), the “Grom” man-portable air-defence system, the “Piorun” man-portable air-defence system, the “Spike” anti-tank guided missile (manufactured by Mesko S.A.), the HBK-01 helmet, all variants of the KBT-02 equipment, the MP6 gas mask (manufactured by Maskpol S.A.), the MU-3AM monocular installed on the HBK-01 helmet, the SCT thermal imaging sight, the NPL-1M thermal imaging binoculars, the CK-1T collimator sight, the DCM-1 daytime modular sight, the CKW daytime and night-time sight, the MU-3ADM night vision goggles, the NPL-2 night vision goggles, the TSO-1 thermal imaging binoculars (manufactured by Przemysłowe Centrum Optyki S.A.).
The equipment presented during the exhibition at Przemysłowe Centrum Optyki S.A. does not exhaust the offering of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa for the Territorial Defence Force. The PGZ Group offers the newly-formed type of Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland a broad range of innovative solutions that meet all the needs of soldiers and provide them with operational capabilities and safety on the modern battlefield.
